Chief conductor Semyon Bychkov has prepared an all-Brahms programme, and another concert will feature Shostakovich and music of the classical era. Bychkov is inviting the British cellist Sheku Kanneh-Mason to make his debut after the cancellation of his Prague performance in January 2022. German bass-baritone Christian Immler has also been invited. The popular conductor Alain Altinoglu is coming with the Italian pianist Beatrice Rana, who is making her debut. The American conductor Alan Gilbert will stand before the Czech Philharmonic for the first time, and we are looking forward to the return of the pianist Kirill Gerstein. Jakub Hrůša will be repeating his successful collaboration with the Czech Philharmonic Youth Orchestra.
